Pregnancy diary.

This is a bit late, and out of the blue, but because I never had a blog when I was pregnant (Which I totally regret), I've decided to just put all my scans and bump pictures on here now. Just so I can look back, and compare when I have my future babies =).

12 weeks + 1 day - Our first photo of baby Aoife.
February 23rd 2011
Such a magical day, and I will never forget seeing my baby for the first time on that screen! I was a bag full of nerves as I was sure they were going to tell me that I wasn't really pregnant!! I was so shocked to see that it had arms and legs, and a nose and mouth! It was kicking away and waving its arms and everything! It was so surreal!

19 weeks + 1 day - 2nd Scan of Baby Aoife.
April 13th 2011

This scan was just as magical as the first one, and the baby had grown so much in the last few weeks! You can see baby's feet, eyes, nose and everything else much more clearly now! Baby was very stubborn at this scan, and wouldn't let the sonographer get the measurements she needed, so we had to go away for an hour, have something to eat, have a jump around and come back! We should of known then that she was a girl! We came back and asked for the sex, and the lady said "Baby has no obvious boy parts, so we're pretty sure she's a girl" - Me and Joe were so shocked as we were convinced we were having a boy! As everyone had been telling me I was! We were over the moon, and this made it feel even more real now!

 20 weeks

I've just started showing, and have a tiny little bump! I love it, and can't stop rubbing my belly! We first felt her move in bed when I was around 19 weeks. We both felt it move together, and it was such an amazing moment.

20 weeks + 6 days.

26 weeks + 4 days.
Getting bigger and bigger every week.

28 weeks

Our growth scan, to see if baby was growing how she should be. She had changed so much, and you can see everything so clear! And she was so much bigger!

 29 weeks + 7 days.

 33 weeks.

 36 weeks.

38 weeks + 5 days.

39 weeks + 1 day.
My last photo of me and bump, before I was taken down to the delivery room to have my Caesaren section, and to meet our beautiful baby.

The wait was finally over, and we finally got to meet our very beautiful baby girl! Most amazing thing to ever happen to me.
