Recently...
Now I know why I've never kept a diary....because I never actually remembered to write in them!! Its been a good week or so since my last entry, so I will fill you in with what I've been upto, from when I can remember, which is Thursday last week!!
Thursday 17th November - Me and my sister went to watch the midnight showing of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt 1! It was AMAZING, and the ending was GENIOUS. I've never waited so long for a film to be released!! But it was so worth the wait...but now I'm waiting for the next one! I love both the books, and the films! The books are slightly better, but only because they have so much more detail! I wish the films would be like that sometimes! The film didn't finish til 2am, so my sister stayed at mine. I ended up spending £15 on taxi's there and back! I can't wait for Joe to start driving!
Friday 18th November - Joe had his last day at work, before he starts his new job on Thursday, so on Friday we spent the whole day together. Just me, Joe & Aoife =). I love days like those! We went to town, and took Aoife to see Santa for the first time! She wasn't really fussed, and was looking everywhere else, apart from at Santa! They make 'Santa's Grotto' so expensive nowadays! Its an actual rip off! They should make them free, or alot cheaper than they are, cause they're supposed to provide enjoyment and fun for children, and not all families can afford £4.50 a child, just to see Santa, and get a free gift, and if you wanted extra's like photo's, magnets, snow globes, or even a go on the bauble ride, then its alot more expensive! We ended up spending £21 on entry to see Santa, a snow globe with our picture in, a magnet with our picture in, and a photo mount. Ridiculous prices!!
Saturday 19th November - We finally took Aoife swimming!! She loved it until I accidently got water in her mouth, and the she started crying the place down! We was in there for about 10 minutes at the most! Oh well, better luck next time!
Sunday 20th November - I can't remember much from this day, apart from I tried Beef Wellington for the first time! Me, Joe & Aoife had dinner round my mums, with my sisters, brother in law, and nephews. It was lovely, and makes me miss the old times from when we were younger and used to spend time as a family every weekend, when my Grandad was still here. In a way I'd love for that to still happen, but in another way, it wouldn't feel right without him there. He was the one that gave it that magical, and special feeling. Aoife would of loved him just as much as I do, and it breaks my heart that she'll never get to meet him. Aoife and my Grandad share the same place in my heart, I will always love them unconditionally, no matter what. I hope to god, he is looking down on her, and I hope that he has been to visit her.
Monday 21st November - Joe's first day at his new job today - Monkey Puzzle. Me and Aoife met Joe from work, and then we went and took Aoife to the doctors. About 3 times in the last two weeks, she has been throwing up alot of her milk, and its been coming out of her nose and all sorts, it panics her so much she holds her breath! This sends me into panic, and I kept patting her back really hard, and blowing at her! I almost cried because I panicked so much! Then she cried a heart breaking sob which made me even more upset =(. Doctors weighed her to make sure she was still gaining weight, which she is and now weighs 11lbs 5oz! He said it was most likely only reflux, and there was nothing they can really do because its common for babies. So I will just have to let her grow out of it, I guess.
My shoulder is starting to hurt, and Aoife and Joe are in bed beside me as I'm writing this, so I think I'm going to join them =) night night!!
