Patchwork Memory Quilt!
So today after about 17 months of wanting to make one, and plucking up the courage to do it, and about a month or so of putting it together (busy life) I finally managed to make Aoife a patchwork memory quilt! It looks absolutely beautiful, for a first attempt! And considering I had no previous sewing experience until recently, it looks pretty fantastic! (Even if I do say so myself).
I taught myself how to make it through Pinterest and various websites! I took a lot of shortcuts but made it my own. And my mum gave me the courage to put my foot down on the pedal of the sewing machine! Now I'm pretty confident at using one! It's nice learning new things. And now I can probably make anything I wanted!
If anyone would like one, id be happy to make one for you at a small cost. Or is be happy to write a tutorial! My next project is going to be a teepee!
