Best weekend I've had in a long time!

You know when you just have those really nice stress free weekends, nothing unusual happened, but we all just had a fantastic time as a family!

Saturday 18th May - Joe and I went on our first date since Aoife has been born. We've both hated the thought of leaving her with anyone apart from either of us. And for the last two years, it has been either one of us or both of us that has looked after her. We left her with my Nan, Mum, and sisters, and she was absolutely fine! I knew she would be!
Anyway, Joe and I went to the cinema to watch Fast & Furious 6! It was amazing and probably the best one yet in my eyes!! The only thing about the cinema I don't like is that I always die for the toilet! It's strange because I would never go to the loo if I were at home watching a movie! I've been so exhausted lately, so spent most of the time laid on Joe's arm!
It was a lovely, peaceful date! On the way back we bought a yummy KFC! Can't wait for our next date!!

Sunday 19th May - We went to Popley Festival, which was a lovely local event around where we live. Aoife had her first go on fair rides! She absolutely loved it! And my jaw hurt so much from smiling and laughing, and even got me emotional. ( As I was watching her, it suddenly hit me, that my baby isn't so much a baby anymore, and that she can do things by herself. I don't want her to grow up and leave me behind, I am nothing without her and she has made me who I am, she makes me excited to get up in the morning. I'm dreading the day she goes to big school. These two years have been the best of my life, and I can't imagine not having every hour to spend with her. ) Sorry, soppy moment!! Back to the festival....we had a few games on the fair stalls, and we won Aoife a ball! Joe tried his luck at penalty shoot out, but didn't score! It was so funny!

Afterwards we walked up to one of our favourite spots - Basing Woods. It's such a secret place, and if you could see where abouts we lived, you wouldn't think this place would exist! We walked though some woods, and fields, and sat by the ponds. I love family time, and I love being outdoors. Two of my most favourite things.

Overall, as I said at the beginning, nothing out of the ordinary happened, but it was just such a brilliant weekend!

Having fun on the car roundabout!

I spy with my little eye....daddy and Aoife!
