Dear, Arwen...

Our littlest darling, you are very nearly one years old, and what a beautiful year you have given us. You were born to Robbie Williams - I love my life, playing in the back ground, which is quite fitting actually, because you do - love your little life. You are such a happy, content little soul. You love to make people laugh and smile and you love being cheeky.

You’ve been a perfect baby, just like both of your siblings. From the beginning you rarely ever cried, which infuriated me with each of you because that newborn cry is just so darn cute! You were just so beautiful. All I wanted to do was sit and stare at you all day long - I mean that’s just how it should be!
You had the biggest cheeks I’ve ever seen, infact, you still do. They are just so squishy and kissable. And you have the chunkiest legs to match! Just delicious!

Your big sister Aoife, and big brother Everly simply adored you from the very first second they saw you. Their eyes were so full of amazement at their new baby sister. And Everly just couldn’t stop touching you and holding you. He sat on the hospital bed with you and kept telling everyone just how soft you were and how they needed to feel your face too! It was the most adorable thing and I kick myself everyday that I never recorded it on video! He is still obsessed with you even now, he loves to get you to chase him round the living room so that you both end up in squeals of laughter. Aoife is the one that cares for you, she will make sure your not climbing too high or running off into the bathroom to try and play in the toilet. Or she will sit and play with you in the mornings or read you stories whilst you climb all over her and pull her hair! She constantly tells you how much she loves you. If there’s one thing I can be sure of, it’s that you will never have anything to worry about or have to go though anything alone with them beside you in life.

You have a little chip in your ear that you were born with. We noticed it once we had taken you home for the first time and apparently it’s where it never fully finished growing whilst you were in the womb. But my gosh it’s the most adorable little thing. Such a unique little thing about you. And little chip is now a little nickname we have for you. Just like chip from beauty and the beast. You also have a small birth mark at the back of your head - you won’t notice this when your hair starts to grow though but again, we love it!

You learned to sit up, at six months. Right around summer time, which you absolutely loved because we would go over the field for picnics and you would sit there for ages playing with your toys and eating snacks whilst watching Everly play football and Aoife run around. Or we would sit at the splash park and watch them play. Or wherever we went, you would just sit, and watch and it would keep you occupied for ages. Probably one of my best summers yet. You also cut your first tooth at six months!

Seven months, you started crawling. And well, you still are now. You haven’t moved on to the next step yet but I guess we can say you are a professional crawler now. You’ve got it sussed all right. You are so fast now - one minute you’re there, the next, you’re down the other end of the house! You also mastered cruising in this month!

You are eleven months old now, and in over a weeks time you will be celebrating your first birthday. You are stil being breastfed and have pretty much claimed them as your own, you have started pulling my top down whenever you are hungry and pinching at them, sometimes biting if you are feeling mischievous. You took five steps unaided a couple of days ago but you don’t want people to see. As soon as they do, you put your head down so no one can look at you - you do the same thing when you are being told no, too. You sleep in with Mummy & Daddy and have done since day one. It’s how you sleep best, and from the very beginning you have slept very well! You love crisps and blueberries. Infact, that’s pretty much all you eat during the day. Dinner times are better, you will eat most things at dinner time. You love to dance recently, and if we say the word ‘dancing’, it will start you off! It’s the sweetest thing. You don’t leave my side, and it’s me you always want but it’s Daddy that generally makes you laugh the most. You give kisses and hugs and hate people crying. You just have such a lovely little character, and I think you have collected little traits off us all, which is going to shape into one crazy, lovely, beautiful little person. And I can’t wait to see you grow and change over the next year. We are so lucky we get to have you in our lives.

We have a beautiful day planned for you, our beautiful little girl.

We love you to infinity and beyond, our little chip.
You are truly magnificent in each and every way and we are truly honoured that we get to spend each day with you. And thank you for making our year, just that much more wonderful. My heart feels as though it is going to burst - how is it possible to feel so much love, pride, happiness, for three little people.

I absolutely love being your mummy, and I love absolutely everything about you, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. And I will spend forever showing you just how much we do.
